Monkfish and king prawn Madras curry with rice and mango chutney £18.00

Roasted guinea fowl breast with chestnuts, new potato, Kelmscott bacon and Cavolo Nero £16.00

28-day aged roast rib of Scottish Black Angus beef with gravy, duck fat roasted potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and vegetables of the day £19.00 (Just choose how would you prefer your roast to be cooked.)

Roast loin of Kelmscott pork with apple sauce duck fat roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables of the day £17.00

This menu is pre-order only. Orders including Sunday lunch need to be placed by 6 pm Thursday because of the fresh ingredients have to be ordered and prepared. Ordering later we cannot guarantee full selection from the menu.

Available for collection only between 6 pm – 8 pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday lunch collection between 12 noon and 2 pm.

You do not need to bring your own containers because we shall pack everything into special compostable and eco-friendly takeaway boxes. You can bring your own carrier bags.

We try to minimise any contact and therefore, please read carefully the below instructions.

Payment: We are kindly asking you to make pre-payment over the phone when ordering or you can bring cash with you on the day of collection. If cash, then exact money would be preferred.

Collection: collection point is from the front door. Those who feel uncomfortable to come inside please either call us or make yourself known and we’ll bring the order out to you. We must kindly ask you to come on time (not earlier, not later).

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have made a few changes - please take a few minutes to read carefully our new policy.

Opening Hours Update:

We are now taking bookings starting from Thursday, 3rd December, evening. According to the government's guidelines announced on 26 November 2020 Oxfordshire county is in Tier 2, which means we will be operating as a restaurant only and up to 6 people from one household including supportive bubble at a table are allowed.

The Oxford Arms is an award-winning XIX century dining pub in Oxfordshire run by chef patron Bryn Jones since 2003.

We serve good, honest food with a minimum of fuss and maximum flavour.

The menu changes seasonably with daily specials to use even more local produce (some of the ingredients are from our organic Kitchen Garden and Kirtlington village itself).

Our real log fire will keep you warm in winter and our beautiful garden patio will keep you cool during hot summer days.
