Warm up in the pub with friends after watching the Kirtlington Village Fireworks. Make a night of it with a hearty meal or pop in for a mulled wine or a pint or two.

Grab your friends (the ones who know something about sport, geography or lots of random facts) and pit your wits against our Quiz Master and competing teams, over a couple of pints and a meal out.
Over autumn and winter months we host a Pub Quiz night on the 1st Thursday of every month.
Pit your wits against Quiz Master ‘Big Stru’’. You’re guaranteed and evening packed with questions to get you thinking and lots of fun. As well as a smug feeling of satisfaction there are prizes up for grabs for the winners!
This is a popular and well attended event - so booking is essential.

Santa Claus is coming to town!
He’ll be visiting The Oxford Arms on Monday 22nd December 2025 and is looking forward to seeing all on his “good list”.
BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL and will be taken in 15 minute intervals between 5.00pm and 7.00pm, so spaces are limited.

We host a monthly live music night on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
Featuring performances from local musicians, the pub comes alive to the sound of everything from rock to country, pop to folk, as well as timeless classics and original songs from established artists and those making a name for themselves on the Oxfordshire music scene.
