Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my dog?

We’re a dog friendly pub and understand your dog is part of your family. Well behaved dogs are welcome at The Oxford Arms, however, we do request they are kept on a lead.

As there are some dog free dining areas please let us know if your pooch is joining you when you make a booking, so we can seat you accordingly.

Can I reserve a table in your beer garden?

Our private and peaceful pub garden is understandably very popular on sunny days, and we don’t accept reservations for this area of the pub. However, there are lots of tables and plenty of space.

If you’re a large party joining us for lunch you may prefer to book a table inside the pub to ensure we can acommodate you all.

Do you do Sunday lunch / a Sunday roast?

We offer a Sunday roast lunch every week. We usually have three different meat choices and a vegetarian/vegan option. Our roasts are very popular so we recommend booking to avoid disappointment

Is there parking available onsite?

We have a private car park for our guests to use, with plenty of parking space available. However, if we are very busy it is possible to park by the Village Hall and walk to us (about 5 minutes).

What dietary requirements do you cater to?

Our menus include vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. If you have more specific dietary requirements please call us to discuss these and please make us aware of these when you book/order.

Do you do work Christmas parties?

We offer a Christmas menu throughout December. This is always very popular with local businesses looking for a venue for a work Christmas lunch. Alternatively, you can book all or part of The Oxford Arms for a private work Christmas party.
